Castillo sprains left ankle on steps
Second baseman’s unlucky fall results in Mets’ latest injury.
A seemingly freak accident may have cost the Mets another player. Second baseman Luis Castillo was carried from the dugout to the clubhouse in the seventh inning on Tuesday night after he fell down the dugout steps and sprained his left ankle. The club didn’t announce how serious the injury was, though X-rays were negative.
